Day 2 at Hinning House - The children had an amazing time ghyll scrambling up a waterfall and also had to find their own way around the hills, forests and valleys of the lake district on the 'The Lone Walk'. They used maps and team work to find their own way around the trail. The children learned about conservation and environmental management when they had to cut down some wild larch trees to ensure the oak trees, which had been planted by the rangers, could flourish. Another fantastic day was had by all!
