40 things to do before you're 11 at Bickershaw

Here at Bickershaw, we have devised a range of activities and experiences we would like the children to have before they leave us in Year 6. We aim to provide the opportunity for your child to experience these at least once during their time at our school, promoting life in all its fullness. The experiences have been selected by our curriculum teams and cover curricular and enrichment opportunities. Our word cloud below summarises these experiences and the table shows the aims and drivers underpinning our choices. Above all, we aim for these experiences to be fun for the children, promoting lifelong learning; tolerance; responsibility; fulfilment and self-motivation.
