Parent Voice

Regular and open communication is important to us at Bickershaw CE Primary School. Parent Voice aims to represent the views of all parents and to be a voice to inform our school of the needs of children and families. Through Parent View and parent suggestions we work to provide feedback on provision, offer a parent's perspective on current policy and practice and input into decision making and planning for future provision.  The role of Parent Voice is to be consultative and advisory. The Governing Body and Headteacher remains the decision maker of the school and provides strategic leadership.

How can I raise an issue?

If you have any suggestions or concerns that you would like to be addressed you can do any of the following:

  • Complete the online form below
  • Speak to the Headteacher Miss Taberner
  • Send a note to the school office

The suggestion form is not a place to address specific concerns about an individual child or issues relating to individual members of staff. Parents who need to discuss these issues should approach their class teacher or the Deputy / Headteacher in a confidential meeting.

Parent View - Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about your child’s school, from the quality of teaching to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. The survey can be completed at any time; you don’t have to wait until the school is being inspected. Click here for the link to Parent View
