LLGSP – collaborative endeavour

Our school take part in a variety of activities through the LLGSP throughout the year. Below you can see some of the events we have participated in this year so far.

POP Lacrosse

Great team work and excellent effort was shown by the Year 5 and 6 children who took part in the Interschool POP Lacrosse competition at Leigh Sports Village.

Volleyball

Great effort and perseverance was shown by the Year 5 and 6 children who took part in the Beginners Volleyball Competition. They learned new skills from St Edmund Arrowsmith mentors and had a great time. 

Basketball

Well done to the Basketball team who took part in the Sainsbury's School Games Competition. The children worked hard as a team, practicing skills they had learned in lessons. They also looked at upcoming fixtures and decided teams based on their strengths.

Cross Country

Children from Year 5 and 6 took part in a Cross Country competition at Leigh Harriers. It was a muddy affair but the children had a fantastic time.
